Every paper gets its own date, pre-filled from the published timetables and fully editable. Then set the days you can study and how long for. That is the entire budget the planner is allowed to spend.
Open the app and today is already decided: which subtopics to revise, what to test yourself on, and which past paper to sit — each tagged with the paper it belongs to.
The scheduling engine
The planner treats revision as a scheduling problem with hard deadlines and a fixed budget: thousands of subtopics, each with its own estimated study time, each tied to a specific paper with its own exam date. It solves that problem in full every time anything changes.
Papers sit exams on different dates, so they get different deadlines. Only the units and topics that actually appear in a paper are scheduled before that paper's date — never Paper 3 content in the run-up to Paper 1.
Each subtopic carries a weight from its size, its estimated study time, how close its paper is, whether you have covered it before and how you performed last time. The highest-priority work lands first.
Total workload is measured against the days and hours you actually have. If it does not fit, you are told during setup, with one-tap fixes such as adding a study day or an extra hour.
When time is tight, extra practice and surplus past papers are demoted to optional and excluded from your daily total, so the essentials still fit inside real hours.
Miss a day and only the future changes. Unfinished tasks are redistributed across the days that remain, re-fitted inside your daily limit and each paper's deadline. Your history is never rewritten.
The same inputs always produce the same plan, and every change comes with a plain-English reason. Nothing is guessed.
