AQA A-level Economics past papers and mark schemes
30 papers · June 2017 – June 2025
Paper 1: Markets and market failure, Paper 2: National and international economy and Paper 3: Economic principles and issues make up the AQA A-level Economics list on this page, for specification 7136. Each is marked out of 80 and lasts 2 hours, and each has 10 papers here.
In total there are 30 papers spanning 9 exam series from June 2017 to June 2025, with 3 specimen papers among them. All have mark schemes, and 10 include an insert. Most are hosted by AQA, the board that sets the papers, and some open on Physics & Maths Tutor. Try to write full answers in the time allowed rather than only planning them in your head, because timing is much easier to judge on paper. Afterwards, compare what you wrote with the mark scheme and look closely at what earned credit. Working from the older series towards the newest leaves you something unseen for the last stretch before the exam.
Reschedule can fit all of this into a daily routine. It is an A-level revision planner, independent and not affiliated with any exam board, that builds your plan from the specification and places each subtopic before the paper that examines it. Past papers with mark schemes are added for each paper, so practice becomes part of the schedule rather than an afterthought.
