Pearson Edexcel A-level Biology past papers and mark schemes

Pearson Edexcel A-level Biology (9BN0) is listed here under Paper 1: The Natural Environment and Species Survival, Paper 2: Energy, Exercise and Co-ordination, and Paper 3: General and Practical Applications in Biology. Each of these carries 100 marks and lasts 2 hours, and this page gathers 30 question papers for them, every one paired with its mark scheme. That total is made up of 27 papers from exam series and 3 specimen papers.

The series run from June 2017 to June 2025, with October 2020 and November 2021 sitting among the June sittings. Within each paper the list is sorted newest first, so the most recent questions are at the top. Some entries also come with an insert, 6 in total, so check whether a paper has one before you begin. A sensible way to use them is to sit a paper under timed conditions, then mark it yourself against the mark scheme and note where marks slipped.
