Pearson Edexcel International A Level (IAL) Biology is assessed in six units, WBI11 to WBI16, and this page lists 143 papers: 131 from exam series between January 2018 and June 2025 and 12 specimen papers, each with a mark scheme. The current units run from ‘Unit 1: Molecules, Diet, Transport and Health (WBI11/01)’ to ‘Unit 6: Practical Skills in Biology II (WBI16/01)’, and the two practical skills units, WBI13 and WBI16, are 50 marks in 1 hour 20 minutes.
Below the current units you will find six groups marked older specification. They hold papers from the previous IAL Biology specification and are kept for extra practice, so they are not part of the revision plan. The number of papers also differs from unit to unit: WBI11 has 20, while WBI15 and WBI16 have 16 each. Pearson hosts most of the files, and some open on Physics & Maths Tutor.
A sensible routine is to sit one unit paper under timed conditions, mark it honestly against the mark scheme and write down where the marks went. Reschedule is a revision planner.
