The Pearson Edexcel International A Level (IAL) Geography papers on this page fall into four units of two sizes. ‘Unit 1: Global Challenges (WGE01/01)’ and ‘Unit 3: Contested Planet (WGE03/01)’ are 90-mark papers, at 1 hour 45 minutes and 2 hours respectively. ‘Unit 2: Geographical Investigations (WGE02/01)’ and ‘Unit 4: Researching Geography (WGE04/01)’ are 60 marks in 1 hour 30 minutes.
There are 66 papers from 16 exam series, June 2017 to June 2025, and 4 of them are specimens. All of them have a mark scheme and 47 include an insert. Units 1 and 2 each have 17 papers, while Units 3 and 4 have 16. There is no June 2020 series in the list. The bulk of the files are on Pearson’s site, and a few open on Physics & Maths Tutor.
Because the units differ in length and marks, practise each one at its own timing rather than squeezing every paper into the same slot.
