Pearson Edexcel International A Level (IAL) French past papers and mark schemes
30 papers · June 2017 – June 2025
Only two units are listed for Pearson Edexcel International A Level (IAL) French: ‘Unit 2: Understanding and written response (WFR02/01)’ and ‘Unit 4: Research, understanding and written response (WFR04/01)’. Both are 2 hours 30 minutes long and out of 90 marks. No other French units appear on this page.
There are 30 papers in total, from 16 exam series between June 2017 and June 2025, and each one has a mark scheme. WFR02 has 16 papers and WFR04 has 14, so the Unit 4 list is a little shorter. There are no specimen papers or inserts in this set, and all the files are hosted by Pearson.
With a paper this long, it can help to split your first attempts into sections before building up to the full 2 hours 30 minutes in one sitting. Mark each attempt against the mark scheme and keep a running list of the vocabulary and grammar slips you made. Reschedule is a revision planner, and it is independent of any exam board. Add your subjects, exam board and paper dates along with the days and hours you can study, and it builds a daily plan that places each subtopic before the paper that examines it. If you miss a day, unfinished tasks move to your next study days.
